It’s a passion and a history which start about 30 – 32 years ago. I loved collecting all different objects, magazines, letters, pens, animals, books, leaves, butterflies (there used to be plenty in Tirana in the 80ies), stamps, chewing gum and chocolate wrapping papers (this is a loooong story). My grandfather used to be a great specialist of bricolage of TV antennas so that we could capture Italian or Yugoslav televisions. It went on and on and as I happen to travel a lot in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and elsewhere for work or leisure, I keep collecting more. You would love the Villa, the Star, the tortoises in the garden (if you come in spring, summer or autumn – in winter they hibernate), the story, the culture, the mountain tea, the wooden stove (specially in winter) and more and more. Come and spend one hour with us at the Villa and this is going to be quite a nice surprise in Tirana.
Just contact@albaniantrip.com 24h before you come (we prefer this best) or call Elton (+ 355 68 40 58 529) or George (+ 355 67 40 53333). We will tell and show you about Albania, hospitality, interests, communism, everyday life or heritage and we’ll be happy to answer to all the questions you might need. A lot of travel info in Albania will be available here and we’ll help you with organizing the rest of your trip and give you some ideas about how to continue…
We were planning to charge a lot of money from you (hoping to get rich by that). But some kind colleagues advices us to rather leave you to offer a contribution rather than impose ticket prices which would not be very attractive to your interest.
Groups up to 15 persons at a time are welcomed.
Visits last between 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your interest. We’ll try to give you will to stay longer than that.
By visiting us you help raise more attention into the cultural and historical heritage of Tirana and Albania, the memory of human past and culture.
