Corfu – Saranda Ferry

The port of Saranda is just a few kilometres across the Adriatic from Corfu Town, and there are regular scheduled ferry services throughout the year. However, finding up-to-date information on schedules and prices can be tricky. Here we’ve pulled together the latest times and prices – though don’t be surprised if things change. This is Albania, after all.

In 2014 there are two ferry lines offering the journey – Finikas Lines, who run a fast and slow service (30 or 60 minutes), and  Ionian Cruises who run only a fast service. Unsurprisingly, the number of boats making the journey varies with the time of year.

One piece of info that’s worth knowing – Finikas Lines intends to run a new service in July and August 2014, connecting Corfu with the Albanian ports of Himare and Vlorë. The schedule and prices are TBC, so we’ll update this page as and when we hear anything concrete.

When making your travel plans, remember that Albanian time is one hour behind Corfu time.

Finikas Lines Corfu-Saranda Ferry Schedule & Prices 2014 

Until 30 April 2014, Finikas Lines’ slow boat will run once a day, taking 90 minutes each way.

Ionian Cruises Corfu-Saranda Ferry Schedule & Prices 2014 

The Ionian Cruises service is by high-speed hydrofoil which takes 30 minutes, and tickets are available at a flat rate of €23.80.
